Very spectacular countryThere is not a photo of the Bead Lakes area which does not make me jealous. I was curious if you saw any views of the Lopez guide class four route on the west side of the mountain. If so, what did it appear to be like?

Re: Very spectacular countryi'm not familiar with the lopez guide, so i can't comment on the class four route in question. we came down the notch/wide gully on the west side of the route and did many single rope rappels. it was fairly dark about half way through, but there were several sections that i would put in the 5th class range. it is spectacular country, but be aware that the rock quality varies greatly (even on the same climb).
