If you're real lucky you'll...
If you're real lucky you'll see one of these. I had never seen one before. At first I thought it was one of those legless salamanders. But a little online research has me thinking it's a racer snake. Although, it certainly wasn't racing when we found it lazing on the Stehekin River Trail. Please correct me if this is not a racer snake--specifically a western or blue racer snake. May 29, 2005.
