Condition of Road?

Mark (or anyone else who knows), what kind of condition is that timpooneke dirt road that circles around the north to the west side of Timpanogos? Is it something I could take my passenger car on or is it 4WD/High Clearance worthy?

Re: Condition of Road?

In Kelsey's guidebook he talks about a lot of trails starting from that road, but I don't recall him mentioning anything about it being rugged.

On Maurader's Everest Ridge Route on the Timp Page he says "This is a descent dirt road, but there are large ruts in certain sections. Use a truck or SUV.". He also mentions 4WD being important.

J - Y Couloir?

Is that another name for Forked Tongue Couloir? Or is this a mixup with the Y Couloir in Little Cottonwood Canyon?
