Nice perspectiveHow do you take pictures in places like this? Pretty impressive.
Are these twin ropes? How do you like them? Do you ever use double rope technique?

Re: Nice perspectiveThanks Kris!
At this point I was already standing in an aider so it's pretty comfy for photo taking :)
These are actually rated as double ropes but most of the time we climb on them as twins. Switch to double technique on hairy traverses (to protect second in some cases) or off-route adventures that invovle lowering off :)

Re: Shoes? They ARE 5.10's but I'm not sure which model?? I've used only 2 of their models: this blue one and the purple ones. These guys are one of few companies that make size 15 rock shoe.

Re: Shoes? Not sure if they go above 15 but 5.10's definitely make (used to?? I hope not...) 15's.
The purple ones are comfy as hell!! Went thru. 3 or 4 pairs of those. Great shoe IMHO!

Re: Shoes?Yeah, I've heard that too. But whatever, they worked OK for me for years. And they sure are comfy.

Re: Helpmate shoes on...Thank you very much Paolo!
This is called "Entrada Sandstone" - much softer & delicate than Wingate and very, very sandy in texture.
