South Chalone Peak as seen...

South Chalone Peak as seen from North Chalone. If your adventerous enough you can decend approximagely 500-700 feet to reassend about 600 feet to summit this nearby peak. However the trail is marked as unmaintained. It looked doable to me. The Chaparral wasn't that thick.
