Bocca Subterminale dell'Etna
Monte Etna'S highest summit, Bocca Subterminale (3330m) is constantly emitting sulphurous smokes though it seems to be harmless at the moment. Neighbouring Bocca Nuova and several of the side craters have last erupted in 2002, when they covered the whole southern flank of the mountain with their lavas. May 19th 2006
