~ Velebit / South Velebit / Seaboard terrace ~ Marasi is one of countless such meadow basins in the wild karts of seaboard terrace of Velebit. This area of Velebit, halfway between the sea and the highest peaks, is under the influence of both Adriatic Sea climate and mountain climate of higher areas which results in the mix of many different types of trees and spectacular autumns. Yes, good eye Mark! :-) Colored ones behind are Klen, which is local variation od maple. Of course, there are normal maples too :-) On the slopes behind are hornbeam's and ashes and so on.
