And I was just about to wear my high-heeled shoes...You have no idea how many times I thought about wearing high-heeled shoes on a trip and then thought, "Better not."
At least this sign would make the decision simple.

Re: And I was just about to wear my high-heeled shoes...Maybe this sign should be at the Grand Canyon trailhead. The three times I've done the GC, I saw women in high-heeled shoes on the trail. While in Yosemite, I saw women in dresses and a guy in Hush Puppy loafers on the Yoseemite Falls trail.

I've seen women in high-heeled sling-back shoes slipping & sliding on the trail to Half Dome. My husband saw a man in the Yosemite Upper Pines campground bathroom who was nattily attired in a tuxedo & black patent leather shoes. (We speculated the man was headed for dinner at the Awahnee but didn't have the $$$$ to stay there).
