The view WNW from the summit...
The view WNW from the summit of Bandera Mountain on Nov. 1, 2003. There should probably be more snow at this elevation at this time of year. On the left is Pt. 5157. This is the normal end point for most hikers going to Bandera even though it is not the true summit. On the right is Mt. Defiance. Farther right in the distance is Pt. 5454 north of Thompson Lake.
