A view of the oddly shattered...

A view of the oddly shattered rock of the north side of the West Summit. It's farther away from Stefan than it looks in the picture. That face is at least 70 feet high. On the return, I took a diversion to this summit. From the top of the snow cornice at left I managed to find a way up a short class 4 jumble of rocks and then shortly found the summit. I then came down the west side to rejoin my mates. Photo taken June 8, 2003.
