West Gunsight and Gunsight...
West Gunsight and Gunsight peaks as seen from Kings Peak to the southwest.
The shortcut for the standard route to Kings (the green line on this map), cuts across the south shoulder of West Gunsight. It is only really steep climbing up to the shoulder from Gunsight Pass. After that, it's just a stroll...until you get over to where you have to start climbing up Kings. June 2002.
