At one of the mine adits....
At one of the mine adits. There's much debris and equipment strewn about. This one I'm standing next to is a "battery car." I'm guessing it was used to power the lights deep in the mine. Don't you just love the way these corrosive batteries haven't been properly disposed of? Maybe they have by now, six years later. July 1998.
