Good stuff

I really enjoy the Utah peaks and this is one I have on my tick list, along with Mt. Nebo, Deseret Peak and Kings Peak. I tried Olympus last time I was in SLC and a thunder / hail storm stopped me less than 1000 vertical feet from the summit. Be sure and check out my Mt. Timpanogas page and post some of your great pics there. There is a view from a spot that is between Snowbird and Alta (where both areas kind of meet) of Mt. Timpanogas that is just terrific. I didn't have my camera with me on that trip. Maybe you have some shots from West Twin of it. Sorry to ramble but I love your area.

Re: Good stuff

I climbed Timp for the first time last year - it was a gloomy gray day, and my pictures turned out pretty bleak. A.F. Twin is a fun hike, and not too difficult with the relatively high trailhead. I really liked Nebo; this year I hope to climb it again and do the complete ridge from south to north summits - a long day for sure. I hope I'm going half as strong as you in my 60's!!
