Peñalara from Cabezas de Hierro

Peñalara (2.428 m / 7,965 ft) seen from the NW face of Cabeza de Hierro Mayor (los Tubos), the second highest summit of Sierra de Guadarrama. You can glimpse the old buildings (altitude snack bar to the left) and chair lift posts of Valcotos ski resort. They both don´t exist now. Winter of a 90s year.
