How's Hungary ??Fascinating. I just noticed all the lichen
growing on the rocks.
In Arizona, I was very much surprised to see
lichen growing, since we have a very dry
climate. I guess it comes in cycles ..

Re: How's Hungary ??Hungary is not a bad place from many aspects, but for somebody who loves moutains, it is not the best. So I must go to the nearby countries to enjoy real mountains (and not only the local hills). For example to Austria. This photo is from there.
Looking at the history it's true that Austria and Hungary look to be almost identical: the two states had the same king from the 16th century until 1918.

The Austrian-Hungarian Empire was always a
force to be reckoned with.
Now that the Cold War is over, I need to visit that part of the world.
Maybe I might even learn something ...
