Photo taken Sunday, 22 August 2004. Looking southeast from the summit of Charleston Peak, Griffith Peak is the high point below the flag, and Las Vegas Valley is in the distance. Obscured by haze in the photograph, but visible to an observer on the summit, Mead Reservoir and Arizona, on its far shore, are visible to the southeast.
