Out of nowhere - Above the crux on Cotopaxi
A vertical snow/ice face blocked the route not far below the summit, but there was a steep ramp on which to pass it. I would estimate it to be about 50 degrees. I'm standing on a flat bit above, while this climber is descending over the edge onto the ramp.
