Leaving the valley
1 April 1994, we left Neltner hut (3207 m) in the Mizane Valley. Beside that refuge we had spent 3 nights in a tent. The snow was brown because of Sahara's nearness so the sands blown by the wind darken the white surfaces. Left: Tizi (col) n'Ougane (3750. Right: a 4-thousand-meter called Akioud wich is a 3-summit mountain (Tadaft, Central and North).
