good photo!

Is this a recent photo of the Elks? It looks a bit hazy from all the wildfire smoke. Still a 4 star pic.

Re: good photo!

Yes, this picture was taken on the 28th of June. It was a bit hazy, although not as hazy as my trip to Harvard the previous week.

Great Pic

This is a great Picture. Are those the rest of the Elk 14'ers in the background. It sure looks like Snowmass and Capitol, but I can't identify the Bells or Pyramid.

Re: Great Pic

Yes, we think so. It was a bit hazy so we could not make out some of the mountains there. This was my first time in the Elks so I was unfamiliar with them. Another climber pointed a few peaks out - we were able to identify Snowmass and Capital pretty easily, but we were not too sure about the Bells.

Mountain IDs

The maroon colored mountains, left to right are: South Maroon, North Maroon (a point), and the next high summit, actually in the foreground is Pyramid. Capitol and Snowmass are not seen, to the right of the picture.
