Oh myLike Matterhorn your photo Mathias is one of those that rise above the sea of other Matterhorn shots, amazing!! I'm dreaming to see something like this live! Oh yes, and take shots :-) I can't believe you resisted for over a year to share this beauty with us! :-)

It was a lucky evening on Capanna Margherita when it cleared in the afternoon after one day of bad weather. The other two evenings I have been there (one in 2000 and the night before in 2003) we were stuck in the clouds. The next evening I would have met Rahel up there but of course I did not know that.
