ReminiscingIt's been too long since I managed a Northern Arizona and Southern Utah trip. I don't think 2013 will be the year for it; maybe next year. I'll keep rockin' closer to the Pacific.

Re: ReminiscingEmbarrassing ... I haven't set foot in
California for eight freakin' years!
Time to live vicariously. Rock on, Sean!

Ronnie JamesAwesome photo. My first concert ever was Black Sabbath here in Calgary circa 1981 (?), Mob Rules tour, with front man Ronnie James Dio. Even with the smokey hazy, I can still remember the concert well. Thanks for the great image and memories.
Rock on!

Re: Ronnie JamesThanks ... OMG, that was over 30 years ago!
I caught BS in the Puget Sound area in 1982,
some really awesome sounds along with Dio and the smoke ... you are welcome.

Re: Ronnie JamesSorry, but I have to comment here... even though this will probably reveal me as the 'Methuselah' of SP. I saw BS in 1972(!) at Winterland, SF. 'Masters of Reality' tour. They were, (you guessed it) 'Bodacious'!

Re: Ronnie JamesOver 40 years ago ... Masters of Reality!
Dio was singing the blues with Elf
back then, before signing with "Ritchie
Blackmore's Rainbow" in 1975.
Them were the days (daze?)

Re: Super Larry!Thanks, Windsor!
The title 'Heaven and Hell'
came to me while thinking 'bout the obstacles
to be faced in Life ... most of us are
strong enough to persevere and OVERCOME ...
Dio was credited for popularizing the "metal horns" hand sign, so that was a symbol for
viewing problems folks must surmount in Life ... sometimes, solving them one day at a time.
Heavy ... but that's why it's called metal.
