Ouzel Lake (5,700 ft) from...
Ouzel Lake (5,700 ft) from the summit of Mt. Spickard on August 3, 2003. It's probably an old glacial tarn. The glacier has long since receded (there is a plunging lobe of the Redoubt Glacier--its toe just visible in the top-left corner of the image). Good camping for the Depot Creek Approach can be found at the north end of this lake (near the outflow).
