Curecanti Needle

This nearly vertical pinnacle of quartz monzonite rises almost 700 feet above Morrow Point Lake. The extraordinary and picturesque nature of the needle has made it a trademark of the area for many years. It is very impressive when viewed from down below - accessed by boat only. Great climb!!! need to get a kayak to get to it:)
