Panorama from the shore of Lake Italy. The outlet of Jumble Lake is on the far left (really just a short distance away). Mount Hilgard is left of center and Mount Gabb the tallest peak to the right. Mount Abbot, Mount Dade, and Bear Creek Spire all appear from left to right in the distance to the east (towards the right of the photo). August 2013

The shape is almost exactly the same as Italy from above. But it is 2 kilometers long, so you can't tell from next to the lake.

You can see it a bit in this picture from the west, about the same angle as looking at a map.

I had to Google that... the pictures looked a lot better than Lake Italy!
