Western end of Rakov Skocian...

Western end of Rakov Skocian where River Rak disappears in a large cave that leads to Planina cave. There Rak unifies with Pivka (coming from Postoina cave) forming River Unica. Unica disappears again at the north-western end of Planina Polje and re-emerges after several kilometers as Ljublianica. Confused? Well things are not always easy in Slovenia.

One river - three names

Rak + Pivka => Unica => Ljubljanica: the same river, flowing underground, and up again...



This cave is huge. I haven't seen it yet, although I was there :-(

And that´s not all, before it enters Lake Cerkno it is called Obrh!
