The view west from Goat...

The view west from Goat Mountain, February 26th, 2005. Elk Mt., (not yet up on SP) is the peak on the horizen left of center and 8 miles away. It's another peak besides Goat Mt. that can be readily spotted from the Portland /Vancouver area.

Elk Mountain

You might as well put in the caption that the peak on the horizon (at left-center) is Elk Mountain (4,538 ft). It is 8 miles WSW of Goat.

Thanks Paul, edit made - I wasn't sure about that one - It's easily spotted from my neighborhood - pretty good prominance.
