On the traverse from Redgap Pass towards Yellow Mountain, the route crosses this marvelous viewpoint. Yellow's summit is obstructed by the rocky outcropping right of center. The route continues out-of-frame to the right and winds along the ridge before passing underneath and to the right of the outcropping. The broad, isolated in the background is Chief Mountain, with two of the many summits of obscure Gable Mountain just to the left. August 22, 2013
