I would suggest to rename this area the "Auvergne" volcanoes and not the Massif Central in the whole meaning.
I have started to create a page about the Gorges du Tarn, and a 2nd one about the Massif Central.
Gorges du Tarn are not related at all to the volvanoes, it cannot be attached to this page because they are completely in another region.
That's why "Auvergne's volcanoes" sound much better for me for this page.
I have set you the edit rights of my Massif Central page, I think some dispatching would be good in order to keep on one side the volcanoes things, on the other on about the whole massif Central (list of peaks, etc). I put rights also for OM.
Cheers,
Eric
On the other hand this is a very good attempt because the Auvergne is a very good hiking area, and your page is good.
I had put "French Volcanoes" to give an idea of what was inside this page. But it definitely covers Massif Central. Auvergne is only an administrative region, not a mountain chain. I'm gonna withdraw the "french volcanoes" denomination so that you can attach your Gorges du Tarn page. Would you like me to grant you access to the Massif Central page so that you can insert your information ?
The page about Massif Central you want to build, what would it contain ?
If you plan on making a page on the whole area such as described in this article : http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Massif_central
Then I could my page as a child one to yours ;o)
This is the page I have started to make :
http://www.summitpost.org/area/range/446396/massif-central.html
Normally you already hive edit rights on this page. I suggest you can move the "Massif Central highest peaks" to this one.
On the other hand I think "Auvergne Volcanoes" is not a bad name for your page, we say "volcans d'Auvergne" currently in french. I think the page you created is mostly focused on this area so this is just a suggestion to you. I don't want to make a duplicate page about the whole massif central, I think this would be good to have on one side the Massif Central as a whole, and the Volcans d'Auvergne with more details in another. What do you think ?
p.s: I have loads of pics of the Cantal and the Sancy I can upload and attach to your page
Cheers, Eric
A+ ;)
A+ ;)
