Think before you vote....

....I realize that most here have advanced photography & art degrees from the top liberal arts schools in the country and hence the highly critical votes on this members' photos but think a little before voting. I'd be willing to guess that the number of climbers who have sumitted this peak in modern age can be counted on the fingers of a single hand.



I for one am more interested in shots like this one from someone who has climbed and summitted this peak than a hundred other, beautifully composed long range shots taken from the comfort of some coastal resort...(I've submitted one or two sh!tty versions of such shots myself on this page).



Think this member is getting screwed vote-wise and it would be a shame to turn someone like that away from SP.

I like your comment. It's nice to see pretty photos, but more important to me is how much effort it took to do the climb / hike. Anyone can hike Half Dome or Whitney and submit a bunch of nice shots. Heck, you don't even have to hike to take those, just take them from a paved road.

Good job on that hike and the route description, man!
