Spent the day hiking and off roading in the area. The peak is pretty cool and has some beautiful views. We met a guy that owns some of the mining claims in the area and it was pretty interesting to get some history from him. It was a really busy weekend for the area.

Silver City Side
I get a weird vibe from this whole area. Possibly due to the history associated with the area and the tragic deaths which occurred in town and at the mines. Climb was easy so long as you stick to the main Jeep trail. I could care less for the loud freakin generators on top which ruin my 'wilderness experience', but that was expected when climbing somewhere that has radio towers. Hayden will be another day.

Drove upthe Linehan Flat Road. Parked just south of the summit and made the quick walk up. Great views of the Treasure Valley.

Quick stepDid a very quick walk to the summit from the road at the saddle on the way back from Hayden peak. Could not see the Boise front due to smoke

Up the NorthLinehan Flat Road, Walked the Mining road through the timber and then straight up the face, easy carefree hike. 5 Miles RT, 2000 of gain.
