Didn't know this was named!
Decided to continue a beautiful day hike up from Walker to the large lake basin above and this high point looked appealing. Incredible views. Wanted to do o Lee too but going up the ridge on this side looked tough.

Walked up from the saddle after DO Lee. Beautiful ridge walk.

From DO Lee
Second 11'er today, a "gimme" after tagging DO Lee. Caulkens is next...
Camped at Cove Lake, took off early on the east ridge. Only 20 minutes from the saddle. I attempted Lee afterwards, but being early season in a late snow year, there was still quite a large snowfield, and I had no crampons or ice axe.
According to the register, I was the first climb of 2012. Wonderful views from the top

Second time up
Came back to the White Clouds with a close friend, beautiful day.
Easy hike from the saddle between D.O. Lee. Got my better half to come up with me, biggest peak for her. Fun day.

From Cirque Lake
An easy hike to the summit from the west saddle above Cirque lake. Absolutely stunning. The white rock in the sunshine, along with the several lake views below and nearby mountaintops surrounding takes your breath away.
Climbed WCP9 and DO Lee with some friends from Texas/Portland. Great view of Big Boulder Basin.

South ridge
Very easy from saddle with D.O. Lee. Possibly better view than it's neighbor also. Beautiful, big, blue lakes to behold. Fun and super fast scree slide back to bighorn basin.

short hike from DO Lee saddle
I ended up taking a grand tour of this peak, going initially up the west butress and then the south ridge before descending the east ridge. This is the least rugged peak in the area

East ridge
Nice mellow climb from Sapphire Lake. We took the east ridge up and then headed over to D.O. Lee Peak. It made for a nice loop.

East Ridge
Climbed the east ridge of WCP-9 from Slide Lake. Based on the number of entries in the summit register, this is probably one of the most climbed peaks in the range. Great views of the Big Boulder Lakes to the east, and Bighorn Basin to the west. Here’s a write up and some photos.
Good class 2 scramble up the east ridge after a night in the Big Boulder Basin. Not much to see on the other side besides Ocaulkens Lake and a highlands type meadow. Great view point of the Big Boulders though.
Route Climbed: West Buttress Date Climbed: July 9, 2005
Climbed with John and bigdan. About 2.5 hours from our basecamp at Ocaulkens lake. Blue sky's when we hiking into the lake in the morning, but storm clounds came in after lunch during our climb. Threatening, but nothing materialized until we got down. Combined this summit with D.O. Lee Peak as well.Great Alpenglow on the peaks that evening. This is a spectacular wild & beautiful area of Idaho. We saw a family of mountain goats to the south below the summit. My first ever sighting. Beautiful animals. Dan had a better zoom on his camera, so I will let him post one of his pics on the goats.
