The descent was the difficult part
The ascend via West ridge was not very difficult, though it is rated here as class 4. The descend via the Southeast ridge was a real challenge since there was merely a sketchy trail and only in some places. Few times I ended up at dry waterfalls following what probably was a sheep trail.

West Ridge Pyramid Peak
Make sure you have enough daylight! The "Pyramid" (6,060 feet) is class 3. There is a fourth class bulge just shy of the final summit ridge. This section can be avoided by downclimbing a steep loose gully and traversing a wide shelf on the north side before climbing back up to the final class 2 summit ridge.
