Pebble pullingThe tree shadows are cool and the climbers give it scale. Great pic makes me want to go there.I was in Tuolumne only once in my life, I'd love to get back.

Re: Pebble pullingThat's exactly right, "Pebble Pulling," if you get them. Most of the time you're pulling on dime edges or just pure friction.
Western Front is no place to lead a climb. You have one or two bolts for an entire 75-80 foot pitch. But, there is no shame in top roping here.
