Dayhike
Dayhike from near Chango Lake. First up to BM then over to White Mountain. Continued along the ridge tagging the little bumps before leaving the ridge to the east and heading directly back to car over boulders, marshes and patches of forest.
Great hike. Went too low and approached via some scree. But, a wonderful area. Hiked up Sonora Peak first. Then hiked up White Mountain. Then did PCT partly back.

From Sonora
This is a very pleasant hike. The ascent from the saddle with Sonora Peak is easy and stable through a sparse forest.

Cold Dat
Came up PCT and started up White Mountain just north of Wolf Creek Lake. Enjoyed this more than expected - pretty much pick your own route up and the ridge traverse from the north summit to the south summit was easy. Just stick to winding through the sparse trees to avoid any talus or sand on the way up. Enjoyed the sandy descent on the west face back to the PCT - this would have been a nightmare ascent route but coming down took only a few minutes. Siilver King Creek Loop
A long day encompassing White, Whitecliff, Fish Valley, and Lost Cannon Peaks. Trip Report
Joel Ward and I hiked in to and camped at Wolf Creek Lake. Summited the next day and hiked out. The afternoon of the 27th was annoying as military aircraft were zooming all around and low. The summit was littered with empty shells left by the Marines.

South peak
Hiked the south peak from Sonora Pass via the PCT. Kinda under the weather to go to the main peak that day. The views were excellent anyway.
