Climbed up the south ridge from camp at White Pass. Views were incredible! I hadn't seen shy Glacier Peak yet on the approach and the vista from the top was jaw dropping. Scrambled down the east ridge and then north into the basin below Glacier Peak for further ramblings. North and east are steep, loose, and/or class 2.

A little Extra
Had I been on SP before July 31, I would have snatched it before Redwic. ;-) I was there when he summited, and this was my second time.

Glacier Peak Sidetrip
Climbed with Redwic and Gimpilator. Best view of Glacier Peak from this vantage point (IMO).

Nice Bonus Peak
If you've huffed it all the way up to White Pass for Glacier Peak, you might as well tag this one too. It's only a little more gain and the views from the top make it worth it.

What A Great Weekend, And Peak!
Our four-person mountaineering team summited Glacier Peak the previous day. We encountered a friend of ours near White Pass that evening, and decided to summit nearby White Mountain and Portal Peak the following day. We thought White Mountain offers the best overall views of the standard southern summit routes leading to Glacier Peak. Highly recommended!
