Whittier Route Photo 2

Did you see Route Photo 1? This gully near the cluster of dead trees is a mix of class 2 and 3. It's not as steep as the rest of the cliff band and it's only 25 feet high, where as the rest of the cliff band is twice that height and more exposed. After scrambling up this gully, make your way through a few small trees to reach the broad open top of the northwest ridge. Follow this easy ridge up to the summit. Photographed October 2, 2012.
