Off in the distance as we descended from Table Mountain, we could see the enticing summit of Wildcat Peak, another Nevada p2k, off in the distance. 6-16-12

There's always another P2K on the horizon

So very true. Ken and I went to the end of the road leading to Wildcat but we weren't sure if we had a route that'd work so it was back to the drawing board and maps.
We found we could have accessed the smmit from were we got to so on our return trip, we'll know the way a bit better. We did Summit Mountain instead. : )
