I'm not sure about it, but...it looks like a flower from the genus Potentilla to me.

Re: I'm not sure about it, but...That's how it got started for me too. But I got curious about what I photographed, tried to determine some of them and slowly I'm catching on. Still a very long way to go before I'm a botanist though ;-).
