Hello Mike, thanks for your comment. It's quite common in the mountains of Central Europe. I don't know if you can find it in England or not. This one is really exceptionally beautiful. I love to see the pictures of flora, they are part of the mountain experience.
I have seen these in the dolomites (I think) but I don't think they grow in the UK.
I have tried to buy some to grow in my garden but they always die!
