Winter Mountaineering

Kessler is approaching the Chicago Ridge in the southern Gore Range in Colorado on February 19. In the past two days, Kessler and I climbed over the top of 11,725 foot (3574 meters) Taylor Hill towards the Chicago Ridge. We were going to climb a 12,714 foot (3875 meters) highpoint of the Chicago Ridge as well, but the weather deteriorated. This photo of Kessler was taken just before the weather deteriorated.
