Wilderness Fun
This was part of a 3 day, 60 miles of hiking trip that Redwic and I made by driving around different parts of Okanogan County. I broke my arm back in July so I could only use on trekking pole. Wolframite's proximity to the Historic Tungsten Mining Camp makes it a very interesting destination. The old cabins are a great place to sleep if you get caught in a sustained August hail storm and did not bring a tent along.

Excellent Summit Adventure
I was excited to visit Wolframite Mountain once I found out a little about its impact on human influence within the Pasayten Wilderness. The off-trail section, on the western slopes, was very straight-forward... just keep going "up" to the summit. Special thanks to SP Member "Gimpilator" for accompanying me on this obscure but fun summit quest.
