From Rhyd Ddu
Did this as part of a larger circuit starting at Rhyd Ddu, climbing to Snowdon summit via the Rhyd Ddu path, to Y Llywedd, down to Pen-y-Pass, back up to the summit via Crib Goch and back to Rhyd Ddu via Bwich Cwmillan (near Quarry Upper Reservoir). Great hike.

A few ascents in 1970's
I made several ascents either as part of Snowdon Horseshoe or just for itself starting from around 1971.
Walked up several times, the last being with my dad as part of the horseshoe in 2004. Recently climbed the north face via Avalanche/Red Wall/Longland's continuation, and via Route II. Brilliant fun.
how often I was there, one way or another. Summer in winter, good weather bad weather etc. Great mountain.

Start of the 14 peaks?
Eschewing the more mundane starts to the then called 14 peaks, we (The Ford Climbing Club) ascended Lliwedd from Pen Y Pass on our way to Y Wyddfa and the rest of the Horseshoe before dropping down to Nant Peris and the killer climb up to Marchlyn Mawr.

Been over here twice as part of the horseshoe.
Although my boots don't have hobnails, I will get around to doing some of the classic climbs here one day.

Done as the "Back end" of the Snowdon horseshoe...This was just pure scrambling playtime really after many hour walking it feels brilliant to start using your hands again!
