My hats off to you,

Nanuls! Gotta love Snowdonia! Cheers and
regards to all your European neighbors.

Hopefully, I won't get the Baltic mixed
up with the Mediterrainian region, again.

Cheerio!

Excuse me ...

I was just looking at the map. Is it true; Snowdonia is just a short distance southwest of Liverpool? Where the Beatles were born???

Thank you. I visited Southampton in 1976. It was very lovely - the people were so friendly and full of life. Cheers to you, Nanuls!

Re: Excuse me ...

yes its pretty close to Liverpool. Although it is in England, the city is thought of by some as Wales' second capital, Cardiff being so far from the north. It also means that Snowdonia is quite often full of Scousers.

btw what the heck were you doing in Southampston? Not many mountains around there!

That was way back

in my "seafaring days." Well over 30 years ago! During a period of history, known to Americans as The Cold War.

It was back when Paul & Linda McCartney put out their "Venus and Mars" album.

We have a reservoir or lake that attracts many people from northern Europe. There was a
man from Great Britan who was always interested in the catching fish from a boat.
He was very humorous, and quite entertaining.
Gotta go ... the fish are making me hungry!
