One of the best pictures I have ever seen.

It shows the massif in its full winter glory. The shot was taken from the northwest, a rarely seen angle which gives me new insight into the topography of the area.

Wish you were there. I have seen this massif from different summits but this was the most beautiful view ever. For more than ten minutes I was stairing at the area! Do you think it would be useful naming the peaks as an informational photo?

That is what I wonder too. putting text on a beautiful picture like this ruins it, but it might help someone understand what he/she is looking at.

I can certainly identify many of the peaks that are seen here. This picture was however very useful for me because it allowed me to see the west face of the North & South Siah Gook Peaks (on the far left of the picture). I had seen the east face of the Siah Gook Peaks but wondered what the west face was like. I hope to climb both of the Siah Gook Peaks in only 3 months from now.
