Yeah, my pics did not turn out so nice. Maybe a couple to submit. I was worried about banging my digicam around so I took a disposable. Oh well. Will submit them tonight.
So, did you spend the climb of this peak trying to figure out how to pronounce it?? ;- )
Still not exactly sure - someone on the message board suggested "whycatapom" peak and that seems to be the easiest.
Gotta take that digital Brian - it'll be OK - we've been bringing ours out for climbs of all sort and so far so good. Will check out your tooth photos later tonight.
....we have not heard of this one either till we picked up that Rock Climbing NW California book. Something good comes out of having this guidebook collecting obsession :)
Yeah, I just ordered Lopez's Idaho climbing book and one for the 13'ers in the Utah Uintahs. Can't have enough guidebooks. Say, do you have Gary Suttle's Caiiifornia County Highpoints Book? or Andy Martin's County highpoint book? You never know when one of those peaks you hit is a county highpoint.
It is as addicting as the rest of the lists out there.
Anyway, I enjoy following along on all your trips and adventures, you guys are doing the good life.
Thanks Dean! You're not exactly spending your free time sitting around at home either :)
Got that Suttle County HP book. So which Uinta book do you have in mind Dean? Wondering if we have it or not? Another place we'll need to hit sometime in the future. Would very much like to nail King's Peak.

Unfortunately the aerial shots of Thompson are not mine - does look like a fun mountain to climb though!
