It rained when we got to the Ermita. And rained and rained. So much that we couldnt see the summit. And in 2 seconds we were drenched. Sheltered in the hut for an hour, then walked down in the still damp mist.
This is as Rafa says, a great ascent route with the waterfalls and the little chapels along the way.
Incredible to think that during the anual pilgrimage from Yebra, hundreds of people come up this way, carrying the figurine and singing, dancing and playing musical instruments.
