Re: Nice pic!Thanks! Luckily it was barely below freezing, or this wind would have spelled real trouble for us. I didn't even have my hat by this point, a gust threw it over the cliffs never to be seen again ... and I was seriously contemplating cracking open the handwarmers! Sure there was its share of chuckles about "summer season" on the trip LOL.

Great Basin Desert, I know it can
reach 100 degrees in August. What
do you all have planned for the
summer months? For some reason,
I think this will be a good year

Re: Taking on theI don't like 100 degrees but the desert is too beautiful to avoid it alltogether. Up in the Uintas, dunno about thunder, but oughtta be plenty of mushrooms ... and skeeters
