Zeolite Quarry
There are 2 areas that quarries were utilized on the mesa. Both of them produced Zeolite, an interesting mineral. The specific type of zeolite found on STM is almost entirely endemic to this area. Specific samples are on display at the Geology Museum at the Colorado School of Mines.
