Re: Fav.That's Maddie, like my username. She's a great dog. She's about 10 1/2 years old, and I got her when she was 6 weeks. She wasn't too excited about spending 7 total hours in the car on that trip. She was extremely energetic, which made for a very frustrating car ride. But they're fantastic dogs!

Did the?Did the 2 of you get AMS or HAPE at this highpoint? At that altitude I would have been concerned.

It was touch & go there for a while...But we were able to descend quickly enough to avoid any debilitating maladies. I'm sure the students at the school of cosmetology located on the hill have acclimated very well........probably very near sherpa-levels in Nepal.
