Was dropped off by the beloved wife on Route 12 bridge. Started the hike at 7:15 a.m. After Sand Creek, walked in the river until Death Hollow where the river dried up for some time (water appeared again farther up). Reached Escalante Trailhead at 2:10 p.m. where I called wife to come pick me up.

EscalanteDid this as a two car hike starting near Escalante and ending at Highway 12. Saw no other people on this route.
